One of the biggest barriers to entry for getting new folks into hunting is getting the Hunters Education Program completed, this is often because of time constraints. With the quarantine of COVID19, nearly 3000 student were informed their classes had been cancelled. In turn NYS has opened up their program to be completed fully online. So joining us was Tony Wilkinson, Director of Fish and Wildlife for NYS DEC.
